that you will be good enough to submit this letter for the consiler-

ation of His Excellency the Governor along with my letter of the

6th. instant. In the burry of Arazing up my explanation of my

grievious error I omittel to mention certain special services

renderel to the Govoraseat during the past fifteen years,

From October 1997 to March 1999, I was ap-

pointed Acting Secretary to the Sanitary Board and Sanitary Superia-

tenient and as to the manner in which I fulfilled the duties of this

dual office, which were quite as to me, I beg to quote the follow-

ing extract from the Colonial Surgeon's Annual Report for 1999:-
